One automatically assumes that a good coach or trainer will have an understanding of the human body, and of the exercises that should be used to enhance an athlete’s performance. Katie’s knowledge is immediately obvious, but her additional strengths are numerous. Key to me are: her sense of humour; the rapport she has managed to build with me over just a few weeks; and her ability to really personalise each session for me (so it doesn’t feel as if it’s recycled from client to client). The proof, of course, is the instant improvement in my physical capabilities and my motivation levels. Not only have my running times now generally improved, I also find myself making adjustments in my everyday life (lunging and springing up the stairs!) to maximise the benefit of my training. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Katie to anyone, especially to “middle of the pack” runners and triathletes like myself, who need some assistance to move on up the results lists.
